Saperavo Qvevri is a red wine made from Saperavi grapes, grown in the Kakheti region. The grapes are crushed, macerated and fermented on the skins and seeds of qvevri for few months according to Kakhetian method of winemaking. This wine is of intense dark garnet-color with balanced and harmonious bouquet of ripe cherries, plums with long aftertaste.
This is full-bodied wine with expressive tannins typical to qvevri wines. Mathes well with red meat dishes. Consuming temperature: 16-18°C. Decant 1 hour before drinking.
