We thought we’d hit the jackpot with the 2012 vintage only to have another incredible season in 2013. Having great weather two years in a row optimizes the vines and what makes the 2013 vintage even more spectacular than its predecessor. Both red and white varietals developed wonderful concentration and are intensely fragrant and well balanced. Our Cabernet shows a rich, complex personality with ideal tannin structure.

Diamond Collection wines are classic California expressions that offer fruit-forward, multi-dimensional flavor and immediate drinkability. Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit from appellations as far north as El Dorado and as far south as Paso Robles. This soil diversity helps us produce a more complex wine. Furthermore, some of our vineyards experience a unique diurnal temperature pattern where extremely hot days are offset by very cool nights. This slows the ripening process and creates a broader mosaic of flavors.
