Brancott Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022
This Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw in color with green highlights. The wine has ripe tropical notes balancing nettle aromatics, almost pungent in their intensity, with highlights of ripe grapefruit and white blossoms. The palette again shows intensity with white stone fruit and pink grapefruit balancing refreshing nettle flavors. The almost pungent character adds weight and a spectrum of fruit sweetness with crisp acidity adding support to the structure.
Beginning in 1934 as Montana Wines, Brancott Estate takes its name from Brancott Vineyard - their original Marlborough vineyard and home. Brancott Estate has grown to become one of the largest wine companies in New Zealand. In the early 1970s, they introduced the world to New Zealand's signature wine style by planting the first Sauvignon Blanc grapes in Marlborough, originating one of the great global wine styles, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Today, Brancott Estate is exported to more than 30 countries and is the leading New Zealand wine producer.
